Description | The contract includes 740 feet of stormwater line, 10 inlets and appurtenances in the City of Uniontown and North Union Township. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms, in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to K2 Engineering, Inc. and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the base amount bid, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days once filed with the Owner. COU reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to be non-responsible. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
