Description

The Jacksonville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking interested bidders for a project that consists of nourishing eroded shoreline along Miami-Dade County in the following locations: 64th Street, 55th Street, 46th Street, and 27th Street. The berm design consists of a flat and sloped berm at the distances, slopes, and elevations shown on the drawings. The Construction Base Line (CBL) and Erosion Control Line (ECL) are the same for the length of the project. All locations have a +0.5-foot tolerance allowance. The sand source for the project will be an upland source and material will be truck hauled to the project location. The upland source will be selected by the Contractor meeting criteria required in Section 35 30 00 Beach Fill, of the technical specifications and listed as approved within environmental resource agency permits. The specific environmental requirements will be outlined in Section 01 57 20 Environmental Protection, of the solicitation. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring.
