| Description | To transmit reclaimed water from fort myers to cape coral. The additional reclaimed water will allow the city of cape coral to provide reclaimed non-potable water for irrigation use and fire protection purposes. The reclaimed water used will reduce the need for freshwater withdrawals from freshwater canals and help maintain water levels during the dry season. This Bid Package (Caloosahatchee River Crossing) includes the work for the Reclaimed Water Transmission Main Caloosahatchee River Crossing (Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) beneath the river) and the overland work at Veterans Memorial Park and specified overland work at the City of Cape Coral’s Horton Park |
