Description | Reference Number 0000327618 The City of Fenton is seeking bids to replace two HVAC RTU units at the Fenton Water Treatment Plant. See attached bid document for full project description. Delivery Point 15300 North Road Fenton MI 48430 Question Acceptance Deadline 08/30/2023 03:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Questions regarding the bid documents, work scope or project worksite can be directed to Dan Brisson, Public Works Director via email dbrisson@cityoffenton.org or phone 810-629-2261. *The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or in their entirety, or to waive any informality or defect in any bid, or to accept any bid which, in its opinion is deemed most advantageous to the City. 1. Furnish and install one (1) RTU unit, Rheem Model # RGECZR060ADU12BACAE1, Identified as RTU-1, Office Area. See attachment A for additional information 2. Furnish and install one (1) RTU unit, Rheem Model # RGECZR060ADU12BCCNE1, Identified as RTU-2, Laboratory. See attachment A for additional information. 3. Furnish and install one (1) Rheem RHC-ZNS4 Humidity Sensor for RTU-2 unit. See attachment A for additional information. 4. Furnish and install two programmable (7 day/1 event) thermostats. Existing "Nest" thermostats to be returned to the city. 5. Environmentally reclaim existing unit's refrigerant and properly dispose of. 6. Disconnect, remove and properly dispose ofthe two existing RTU units. 7. Provide all associated rigging to remove existing RTU units and install new units on the roof. 8. Perform any curb/foundation repairs or updates in preparation ofthe new RTU Units. Note the city plans to rehabilitate the roofwith a new rubber membrane layer in the near future. 9. Furnish and install new pads, whips and disconnects if needed to meet current electrical standards. 10. Furnish and install all necessary electrical equipment, conduit, wiring for equipment. 11. Furnish and install all necessary gas parts, fittings, materials for connection to new equipment. 12. Provide start-up of all equipment and verify proper operation, where system is a turn-key solution |
