RFQ - Annual Statement of Qualifications

Consistent with Section 136-a of the State Finance Law, the Hudson River - Black River Regulating District requests your submission of an annual Statement of Qualifications and performance data. It is the Regulating District's intent to maintain annually updated Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) in the event that the Regulating District has the need to hire an engineering consultant, and for the purpose of identifying and selecting professional firms on an as-needed or project specific basis, and to identify the most highly qualified firm to provide the projectspecific services required. A firm which submitted an Annual Statement of Qualifications in response to a previous Regulating District Request for Annual Statement of Qualifications may choose to append any new or additional information to its previous submission rather than resubmitting duplicate material. Statements of Qualifications shall highlight the professional firm's qualifications and experience in the following areas as they pertain to concrete and earthen dams, spillways, outlet structures, and reservoirs: o Safety Inspections o Engineering Assessments o Federal Energy Regulatory Commission license, safety and compliance regulations o Department of Environmental Conservation safety and compliance regulations o Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses o Structural analyses o Geotechnical and earthen embankment analyses o Remediation and repair o Environmental and Regulatory compliance o Design o Contract documents o Construction observation The Statement of Qualifications of firms demonstrating qualifications and experience in any of the areas listed above will be maintained in the Regulating District files. Contract term: one year Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
