Description

AS of June 14, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Contract involves the repaving the entrance to Linnippi Village and various areas of base repair, inlet replacement and curbing and bituminous overlay. Contract No. 23-01, Bids will be based on a unit prices. Include a separate bid for each alternate. A Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the Contract will not be held. The work in Contract 23-01 is to be substantially completed within 75 days from the specified date. Bidding and Contract documents, and the Project Manual were prepared by Buchart Horn, 2009 North Atherton Street, State College, PA 16803; (814) 883 2189 Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Wayne Township in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Surety companies executing bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570, as currently amended, and be authorized to be in business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by the required Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be in the amount of 100% of the liability of the Contract. Wayne Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
