City Hall Renovations/Reroofing and Police Headquarters Reroofing

The project shall consist of a combination of two sub-projects with the first being renovations and reroofing at Tuscaloosa City Hall and the second being reroofing at Tuscaloosa Police Department Headquarters. City Hall Renovations / Reroofing: The renovation work consists of refurbishing the majority of existing exterior wood windows with thorough cleaning, removal of sealants, installing new sealants, priming, and painting. A small quantity of existing wood windows will be completely replaced with new windows. The reroofing work consists of removing an existing metal roof system and replacing with an entirely new metal roof system. The reroofing work also includes refurbishing an existing low slope roof. The entire existing roof area is approximately 7,000 sf. Police Headquarters Reroofing: Work consists of recovering existing low slope roof system with new PVC single-ply membrane system. Existing large structural skylights will have a base bid to replace with new skylights and then an alternate to remove existing skylights to be replaced by new structural steel roof framing, decking, roof insulation, and covered with new PVC single-ply membrane system. The entire existing roof area is approximately 30,000 sf. The total area of multiple large structural skylights is approximately 2,000 sf.

Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
