Description

The work is generally described as vegetation management at each of the drainages and basins including the thinning of brushy vegetation using hand tools; pruning of willows to remove low branches that may block culverts; removal of dead and downed trees from drainage and basin beds; hand removal and possibly herbicide application to remove invasive nonnative vegetation. Removal of accumulated sediment from around culvert inlets and outlets selected drainage locations. Sediment will be removed using hand tools and if needed, a backhoe operated from the top of the bank.
