Description | SEWERAGE & WATER BOARD OF NEW ORLEANS CONTRACT 1418 CARROLLTON WATER PURIFICATION PLANT UTILITY RACK The Project contemplated consists of the fabrication and installation of approximately 1,500 linear-ft of coated structural steel utility rack, including forty-nine (49) electrical conduits and one (1) natural gas pipeline. The structural steel rack will be elevated 25-ft above the ground surface and supported by 36-in diameter pipe piles driven 90-ft deep. The utilities to be located on this rack will connect new power generating equipment at the new SWBNO West Power Complex (WPC) within the C7 basin to the existing power infrastructure located on the east side of the SWBNO property at Central Control and Turbine 6. The Work will be completed in all respects within 365 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Bid Documents and proposal forms are available for download at the following websites. Except for material suppliers, Bid Documents will be issued only to Contractors and/or Sub-contractors who are licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors, under Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2150 through 37:2163 as amended, and who have furnished satisfactory evidence to the Purchasing Agent of the Board that they are licensed and are qualified to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. Bids will be accepted from only those Contractors who possess a Louisiana Contractors License, in accordance with the above referenced Louisiana Statutes. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. Envelopes containing bids and bid guarantee must be sealed, marked with the project name and with the Contractors name as it appears on the license and the Louisiana Contractors License number. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or proposals for just cause and to waive informalities. The Board also reserves the right to reject all proposals in the event that a formal agreement regarding funding from FEMA is not received prior to award of this Contract. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold all necessary licenses as required by the above referenced Louisiana Statutes. This Project is classified as municipal and public works construction. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for additional information. Owners right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. |
