Tree and Debris Removal and Removal and Replacement of Damaged Lateral Crossing Culverts

The work consists of approximately 22.4 miles of maintenance work on the Moccasin Creek Watershed Project extending from just west of US 301 north of Selma, past the Town of Pine Level, to a point designated as the headwaters of Holts Pond near Princeton in Johnston County, North Carolina. The work will consist of the following: Removal of all fallen trees, bushes, shrubs and any other natural or manmade items. Removal of all debris as well as the removal of any fallen trees or shrubs in the channel as described in the contract specifications. Removal and replacement of damaged lateral crossing culverts and rip rap at both ends of each pipe. Pipe shall be 24" HP storm with plastic flared-end sections on both ends. No section of pipe shall be less than forty feet when installed. Fabric and rip rap to be installed to slopes to stabilize banks.
