Description | The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (Mobility Authority) is seeking Bids for the following Maintenance contract in Travis County: Contract #23VARI22702M - SH 71 and 183 Toll Sign Improvement Maintenance Project which will include two work areas. Work Area A is along SH 71 from Brandt Dr to Fallwell Ln, and Work Area B is along 183 Toll from Manor Rd to Jet Ln. The work will include installing and replacing large guide signs and installing pavement markings in Work Area A, and installing interpretive signs to shared use paths in Work Area B. The contractor will have thirty-five (35) working days after the date stated in the written Full Notice to Proceed to achieve full completion of all work. The Authority reserves the right to make changes in the work to complete the contract, as defined in the specifications. Upon execution of the contract, a Partial Notice to Proceed (NTP) may be issued at the sole discretion of the Authority to allow the Contractor to perform such tasks as secure materials on hand, produce shop drawings for approval, etc. No time charges will be incurred until a Full NTP is issued. The complete list of quantities is located in the Bid Form. The principal items of work are as follows: - Aluminum Signs (TY O) - Aluminum Signs (TY A) - Aluminum Signs (TY G) - Drill Shaft - Pavement Markings - Flexible Delineators - Interpretive Signage - Lane Closures The Authority cannot be held liable in the event a party is unable to submit a valid bid due to delay in the prequalification procedure. Securing prequalification through TxDOT and the timing thereof, shall at all times be the sole responsibility of the Prospective Bidder. 08/31/2022 - Deadline for Questions 12:00PM (noon) Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond (on the form provided) in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Amount. The apparent low bidder shall deliver the original sealed Bid Bond to CTRMA within five (5) calendar days of such notification. |
