Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project: Renovations Central Bus Garage Complex & Glenn O. Swing Elementary 3306 Eugenia Avenue Covington, Kentucky 41015 501 West 19th Street Covington, Kentucky 41014.For Covington Independent Public School District 25 E. 7TH Street Covington, Kentucky 41011 KDE BG NO. 23-065 The work will be performed under ONE contract with the Owner. Partial sets may be purchased by individual contractors at their own cost and shall not be refunded. Refunds will be issued up to May 2, 2023 for sets returned in good condition to Phipps Reprographics. Any checks not returned to the contractor by this date will be turned over to the Owner for deposit into the general operating fund. All questions requiring additional information or clarification shall be submitted to the Architect by Friday, April 14, 2023. Bid Security will be required in the amount and form defined by the Instructions to Bidders and Amendment to the Instructions to Bidders. Any proposed equal for a standard shall be submitted to the Architect no later than ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. The proposed equal shall be considered rejected if no Addendum is issued accepting the proposed equal. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum. . Liquidated damages will be assessed for failure to complete the Work within the time specified noted in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid and to reject any and/all bids. No Bidder may modify, withdraw, or cancel his Bid for sixty (60) days from the actual time and date designated for the receipt of Bids.
