State Laboratory Newborn Screening Lab, Mass Spec Room

The Laboratory Services Division (LSD) of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is remodeling the LSD building located at 8100 Lowry Boulevard. The remodel involves trans forming a portion of the current warehouse space into a new 1,100 SF lab serving the Newborn Screening Program, constructing a wall adjoining space for future growth, and a hallway. Major components of construction includes but is not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and equipment. The project involves a high level of MEP including the addition of a new roof- top unit (RTU). Unique components include but are not limited to: 1. Provide and install new RTU; includes structural, maintain roof warranty 2. Concrete floor preparation (grind and level); floor finishes include composition and epoxy flooring 3. Domestic hot and cold water, deionized water 4. Sprinkler system modifications 5. Acid waste lines 6. Electrical ground bars, new 75 KVA transformer 7. General Condition of the Contractor’s DBB Agreement SC6.23 8. Assign project manager and superintendent for duration of project; Article 7 9. Building Inspection Record (BIR) – coordinate all inspections, secure sign -offs on 10. BIR through final inspection; Article 6.
