| Description | Work of this Contract comprises of in general the total removal of the existing membrane roofing system to the concrete deck including the existing roof insulation. The contractor shall furnish and install new tapered roof insulation with new .060 TPO membrane roofing fully adhered system. The roofing contractor shall remove and replace new roof drain strainers, existing drains to remain. The existing roof material and adhesives have been tested an found to contain less than 1% asbestos. The Rhode Island Department of Health and EPA regulations considered contents with less than 1% to be negative. |
