Large Valve Vault Replacement 2021

Base Bid sites are located at: Intersection of Dewey Avenue and Felix Street Intersection of McLean Street and Mt. Hope Avenue Intersection of Field Street and Monroe Avenue Intersection of Gardner Avenue and Chili Avenue Add Alternates 1 and 2 sites are located at the intersection of Flint Street and Exchange Street The scope of the work consists of the removal of large gate valves, miscellaneous pipe fittings and appurtenances, located within and adjacent to brick masonry vaults: the partial removal and abandonment of the brick masonry vaults and replacement of large gate valves with large butterfly valves, miscellaneous pipe fittings and appurtenances. The butterfly valves will be furnished by the City. This project also includes pavement restoration and some pavement milling and resurfacing as required by the City's enhanced pavement restoration requirements.
