Description

Notice is hereby given that the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District of Sacramento County, California, will receive sealed bids as follows: Westside Park Improvements License and/or class Required: AGeneral Engineering Contractor The work to be performed under this contract includes the rehabilitation and addition of park amenities to Westside Park located in Rio Linda, CA. The majority of the improvements include the installation of a pre-manufactured restroom building and shade shelter and supporting improvements. Other work includes, but is not limited to the following; site demolition, electrical, utility connections, earthwork and grading, installation of concrete pavement and hardscape, decomposed granite pavement, irrigation work, header board and various site furnishings. The district has secured the restroom building as indicated in the plans and specs. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for the scheduling, the delivery, storage and installation of the prepurchased restroom building. Time for completion of the work is sixty (60) working days for all work. Award of this contract requires a valid California Contractors license with the classification identified above. All public works projects are subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project or awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to prevailing wage. Deadline for questions is 5:00 pm - Wednesday, November 23, 2022 2. Addendums and answers to all questions will be posted to the website on Wednesday, November 29, 2022 3. It is the Contractors responsibility to check the District website for updates. The Board reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid, in the judgement of the Board, is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. Each bid must be submitted on the proposal bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by corporate surety, a certified check, or cashiers check payable to the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Payment Bond and Performance Bond issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District, for the Westside Park Improvements. Each bond shall not be less than one hundred percent (100%) of that portion of the contract price.
