On-Call Engineering Design Services / CDBG Funded Roadway Improvements

In general, the Scope of Work for each identified project to be completed under this RFQ generally includes, but will not be limited to, a pre-design geotechnical investigation with structural design recommendations for roadway projects, utility research, design surveying, applicable engineering reports, preparing plans, specifications and cost estimate (PS&E), preparation of a joint NEPA/CEQA environmental document, construction engineering support during bidding and construction (i.e., assistance with answering bidder's questions, possible review of submittals, assistance with RFIs, change orders, claims, etc.), geotechnical services during construction to include specialty inspections and materials testing services, construction surveying, attending project meetings as necessary, assistance with project closeout, other miscellaneous construction engineering activities, and any other professional engineering work related to the design of a typical public works roadway project. Engineering plans and specifications prepared for an identified project shall be complete and suitable for bidding.
