| Description | The project consists of removal of existing aluminum foil roof system, installation of new PVC roof system over existing building and providing additional containment of loose interior roof insulation, including the following: Removal existing roofing material. Remove dirt, debris, and adhesives from the metal roof panel surface. Inspect existing roof panels and replace as needed per unit pricing. Install flute filler insulation between ribs of the metal roof panels. Lay approved cover board over the insulation and ribs, and then mechanically fasten to deck. Lay single ply membrane into place. Mechanically fasten membrane. Hot air weld field seams and laps. Custom flash penetrations then treat with a hot air welder. Install new sheet metal edge flashing, trim, gutters and downspouts, etc. Secure loose roof insulation at the interior of the facility. |
