Description

The City of Maplewood, MO requests bids for Plumbing services The City of Maplewood, Missouri is seeking a standard hourly rate and an overtime hourly rate from an established plumbing contractor with a minimum of five (5) years' experience. The city will consider experience, ability to provide necessary services within the prescribed period of time and cost in deciding on the firm to be selected. The contractor must be able to provide to the city one master plumber with basic tools and vehicle on an as needed basis. The contractor must be able to respond to service calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contractor is required to respond to all calls within a 24-hour period of time. There will be no guarantee for any specific number of hours. The city will award the service work for one (1) year. The service work may be extended for four (4) additional years, with price increases (as determined by the national cost of living index) at the discretion of the City of Maplewood. The contractor must provide worker's compensation insurance for all employees of the contractor engaged in work for the City of Maplewood. A certificate of worker's compensation insurance must be submitted and on file with the City of Maplewood prior to the start of work. The contractor is expected to comply with the laws of the State of Missouri and the laws of the United States affecting this work. The contractor must pay prevailing wage. Upon completion of service, the City of Maplewood will pay approximately three weeks after receiving invoice.
