Description

The Work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to; trench excavation requiring soil management and the disposal of excess unsuitable excavated material; installation of a 54-inch cement lined ductile iron pipe force main along with fittings and appurtenances; replacement of water mains, storm drains and appurtenances; construction of new stormwater outfall, including installation of access manholes, check valve, box culvert, new seawall/bulkhead, rip rap apron, and security fencing; roadway, sidewalk and driveway restoration; and other related work. Permit approvals have not been obtained for all portions of the Work. As a result, construction of the outfall and portions of the force main located immediately upstream of the outfall will not be permitted until March 2022.
