Bus Garage and Office Construction Scope of Work: The project is to be designed with laminated posts for structural strength LVL truss carriers for strength Treated 2/8 skirt board 4' on center trusses 4/12 pitch with 1' overhang 2' on center purlins to attach metal roofing and siding 28-gauge metal roofing with drip and vapor barrier 28-gauge metal siding with rodent guard 3 service doors 5/8 fire code drywall divider between buildings Office/meeting/restroom areas to be finished with insulation in walls and attic and linerpanels 6' concrete floor in main building and 4' floor in office/meeting/restroom areas 8 - 14' by 14' roll-up doors 200-amp electrical service breaker box LED lighting in office, meeting, restrooms, and storage area of building TBD Electrical outlets in office, meeting, restrooms, and storage area of building TBD Installation of one (1) hot water heater with required safety appliances Installation of all plumbing required for two (2) separate restrooms conforming to ADA regulations. Work must be completed on or before 2/1/2023. Bid quotes are guaranteed for 90 calendar days. Bangor Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities which it deems to be in the best interest of Bangor Public Schools. All bids must include a Bid Security for five percent (5%) of the bid amount in either the form of a certified bank check or bid bond payable to the Bangor Public Schools as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the bid or failure of the Bidder to enter into a contract if his bid is accepted by the District for performance Prior to commencement of the Project, the successful Bidder shall furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds as required by MCL 129.201, et seq. in such form as the District may require, securing the faithful performance of such contracts and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Such bonds must be for the full amount of the contract with a surety company in good standing and licensed to do business in the State of Michigan. The bond must be at no cost to the District
