Description

Huntington Park includes site improvements to the existing 5-acre park and library grounds to provide increased programmatic and educational opportunities for the community. Design interventions are focused within key areas of the park. Proposed design elements include a hillside overlook—positioned at the former site of a historic rotunda—with paved terrace, stone seating, and connecting walking paths; library garden plantings and minor path improvements at the front entry of the Huntington Memorial Library; tree, shrub, and groundcover plantings; additional benches; and park-wide exterior lighting improvements.
