Description

Mill & Overlay approximately 17 miles of I-20 from the Rankin County Line to 0.35 miles east of SR 501, known as Federal Aid Project No. IM-0020-02(102) / 108591301 in Scott County. Project completion: August 29, 2025 Value Estimate Range - $30,000,000 - $40,000,000 For Federal Aid Projects the attention of bidders is directed to the contract provisions governing selection and employment of labor contained in the bid proposal. Minimum wage rates for Federal Aid Projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581, Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the contract provisions. Unless otherwise set out in the bid proposal, all other projects are subject to the predetermined minimum wage rate set by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Bid Bond, Signed or Countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent or Qualified Non-resident Agent, With Power of Attorney Attached or on File With the Contract Administration Engineer of the Department, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check for Five (5%) Percent of Bid, Payable to State of Mississippi, Must Accompany Each Proposal. When a DBE goal is contained in the contract, the award will be contingent upon the Contractor satisfying the DBE requirements. The attention of bidders is directed to the provisions of Subsection 102.07 pertaining to irregular proposals and rejection of bids.
