Description | As of July 29, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for the Construction of the Morris County Greenway Peckman River Crossing Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge in Township of Little Falls, Passaic County. This work shall include all necessary construction engineering and inspection services and Phase II Archaeological Investigation Services, under a single contract for the construction of the Morris Canal Greenway Peckman River Crossing Pedestrian / Bicycle Bridge in the Township of Little Falls, Passaic County (Structure 1600-517). The proposed bridge will be a single span of approximate 100' utilizing a pre-fabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge supported on concrete abutments. The estimated construction duration is 9 months. The estimated duration of time needed for the firm providing construction inspection is 11 months. No late proposals or bids will be accepted. The County is not responsible for bids delivered or otherwise not arriving on time. The County reserves the right to reject bids for the reasons stated therein.
