Description | CITY OF BURIEN, WASHINGTON PROJECT: Burien Parks Pathway Pavement Repairs. The City of Burien seeks a contractor to furnish all management, coordination, labor, materials, equipment and permitting as necessary to complete the project described in this bid package. The work shall include, but is not limited to, asphalt removal, asphalt cutting and patching, crack sealing, and asphalt and concrete pavement placement at Salmon Creek Park, Hazel Valley Park, and Dottie Harper Park, as detailed in this bid package. No electronic bids accepted. Hand delivery, US Mail, Fed Ex, UPS, or courier service is acceptable. Timely delivery is the responsibility of the bidder. Bid proposals shall be presented in accordance with Contract Documents, available for online viewing and downloading at no cost through online. This is a prevailing wage job per RCW 39.12 funded by Washington Cities Insurance Authority (WCIA) and the City of Burien. All bidders must certify that they are not on the Controller Generals list of ineligible contractors or the list of parties excluded from Federal procurement or non-procurement programs. The City of Burien following Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of color, gender, national origin, or race in consideration for an award. |
