Roadway and Parking Lot Expansion

consists of a roadway and parking lot expansion and upgrade that covers approximately 11 acres across the active campus. The Campus Improvement project includes an expansion of a staff/visitor parking lot adjacent to Brunkhorst Hall on western side of the campus and the upgrade of the main entrance to campus situated to the east of the existing traffic circle on Walston Switch Road. Lastly, the widening and extension of the Campus Loop Road coupled with the entry road improvements are designed to consolidate/improve movement across campus while also improving the safety of vehicular movements relative to pedestrian access. This work will be phased and happens on an occupied campus and will require coordination with the ongoing construction of the Applied Technology Building.
