Description This project will replace the flat built-up roof system with a new membrane roof system. This building is located on the Avery Point Campus of the University of Connecticut, Groton, Connecticut. 1) Raising the existing steel dunnage and modifying the mechanical connections to accommodate the new roof system heights 2) Infill the windows that are currently blacked out 3) Cover masonry wall with metal cladding on the west and south elevations 4) Replace vinyl cladding on the stair tower penthouse wall with metal cladding to account for the increase roof heights 5) Remove and replace guardrail with a new weighted guardrail system 6) Replace perimeter gutter, down leaders and asphalt shingles as necessary to integrate the roof into the gutter 7) Abate ACM roofing materials 8) General Clean-Up/Rehabilitation
