Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant Disposal Well

The scope of services expected to be required include, are design, permitting, bidding, award, construction administration, and construction inspection services for the improvements to be performed at the City of Melbourne Joe Mullins Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant. The improvements will consist of, but may not be limited to the design, construction and testing of a new deep injection well and associated monitoring wells to dispose of brackish groundwater and RO concentrate. The primary service being required by the City of Melbourne are hydrogeologic services. Therefore, the firm must be licensed as a Geology Business in the State of Florida. Secondary services are civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, and surveying as related to hydrogeologic projects. Demonstrated individual and company experience specific to large municipal water treatment facilities that have brackish groundwater as their raw water supply and concentrate disposal wells will be given preference. Consultants must be experienced in providing evaluation, planning, design, permitting, construction administration, SCADA design/programming and project management services for the above-mentioned types of projects.
