CTH CJ/Caughlin Road Reconstruction Project

The Work for which Bids are asked includes the 6 different contracts including but not limited to pulverizing of the 19,000sq yds of existing pavement, replacement of 14 road and driveway culverts, adjustment of sanitary and storm sewer inlets and manhole covers, installation of new 19,000 sq yds of asphalt paving, shouldering, installation of erosion control, install traffic control, and restoration. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security f the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner. This project will be funded in part by funds from the American Rescue Plan Act and it may be a subject to all applicable laws and regulations
