Recycling Collection Services

The City of West Palm Beach (City) is accepting proposals from responsible and qualified proposers to provide residential curbside, residential multi-family, limited City right-of-way, and City owned facility containerized recycling collection services, to include transportation to and disposal of same at a Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County owned or permitted facility. Services shall be inclusive of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the performance of the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Proposals. The successful Proposer shall have the exclusive right to provide Recycling Collection Services for residential dwelling units, multi-family dwelling units, City right-of-ways and City-owned facilities. Final Questions Due: June 22, 2023 The purpose of this solicitation is to secure one Proposer ("Contractor") to provide residential curbside, residential multi-family, limited City of West Palm Beach ("City") right-of-way, and City owned facility containerized recycling collection services, to include transportation to and disposal of same at a Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County ("SWA") owned or permitted facility. Services shall be inclusive of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the performance of the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Proposals ("RFP"). It is intended services will commence October 1, 2023. It is important the City contract with a reliable and qualified Proposer(s). The City will check references to help determine the most desirable Proposer(s). The City does not select a Proposer(s) solely on cost but will consider all factors. The successful Proposer shall have the exclusive right to provide Recycling Collection Services for Residential Dwelling Units, Multi-Family Dwelling Units, City Right-of-Ways and City-owned facilities. Contact by a Bidder (or anyone representing a Bidder) regarding this solicitation with the Mayor, any City Commissioner, officer, or City employee other than an employee of the West Palm Beach Procurement Division is grounds for disqualification.
