Description | All bidders must attend one of the two scheduled Pre-Bid Meetings which will be held at 10:00AM on October 27th and November 10th at 2123 Barley Dr, Quakertown, PA 18951. Sealed bids will be received electronically via PennBid by The Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA for the renovation of a bathroom at one of our ADA accessible residential homes until at which time Bids will be opened on the website with results displayed publicly Contract Documents can be obtained at no cost on PennBid. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the "Clarifications" tab on PennBid. certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each Bid. his Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which provides that training, employment, and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. Contractor's bid shall include on the bid a breakdown of the project costs including each subcontractor trade and including a statement that the bid total cost is in conformance with the design intent of the Contract Documents and including any Addendum issued after the required preconstruction meeting. Prior to awarding the contract, bids may be held by the Indian Creek Foundation for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders. The Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the CEO or his designee, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage. |
