Partial Roof Replacement at Public Works

The Contractor shall submit, under this heading, alternate quotations for the furnishing of all labor and completion of all alternates as stated herein. Alternate No. 1: State the amount to be added to the Base Bid to remove all existing EPS roof insulation. Remove existing Perlite board. Existing vapor barrier to remain. Install new 5.2" thick, mechanically- fastened polyisocyanurate insulation over total area of reroofed portion of the building. Refer to specifications. Base Bid work of Installation of new fully-adhered TPO roofing as specified. Provide new perimeter wood blocking as required. Provide new metal fascia and gravel stop. Provide new TPO flashing and sealant. Provide the replacement of expansion joints at precast wall panels from the top of the existing deck to the top of termination bar and counter flashing at wall panels or to window sill. Alternate No. 2: State the amount to be added to the Base Bid to remove existing precast concrete wall panel expansion joints, clean precast panels, and install new backer rod, sealant primer, and new sealant at all precast wall panel locations as outlined on the drawings. There are approximately 340 LF of wall panels that will have the horizontal and vertical joints replaced.
