Description

All questions regarding this project must be submitted via e-mail to the Construction Manager (kdavis@codellconstruction.com) AND Justin White (jwhite@jrarchitects.com). The deadline for questions is the close of business October 19, 2023. Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials to complete the BG 22- 471 Clay County Area Technology Center - Building Packages Clay County Board of Education (Owner) Will Receive Proposals Through Codell Construction Company (Construction Manager) to Furnish All Labor and Materials to Complete the Building 22- 471 ,Clay County Area Technology Center - Building Packages Located at 425 Clay County High Road, Manchester, KY 40962. Work is to Be Performed in Accordance With Plans, Specifications, and Addenda Prepared by JRA Architects (Architect), CMTA (M/E Engineer), and Brown+kubican (Structural Engineers). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner can be served. Bid opening will be public, and contracts will be with the Owner Each bid must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond. If bidder desires hard copy of Drawings and Specifications, bidder will be responsible for paying the printing cost. Bidder shall confirm cost with Lynn Imaging. The bid will be submitted in duplicate on copies of the Form of Proposal located in the Volume One Project Manual Bidding and Contract Documents. Both copies of the Form of Proposal and Bid Bond shall be placed in a manila envelope and have the Project Name and Proposed Bid Package number affixed. No Bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Project Schedule will be issued via addendum. The contract will include liquidated damages assessed at $1,000.00/day if the completion date is not met. Successful Bidders are required to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for this Project.
