Elevator Inspections

Perform Elevator Inspection Services for Marion County owned and leased buildings. Facilities Management is requesting proposals for the annual inspections and witnessing of countywide elevators. Marion County has twenty two (22) elevators, two (2) wheel chair lifts and one (1) freight lift. Out of the twenty two elevators, sixteen (16) are traction and six (6) are hydraulic. Inspections must be done by March of each year to ensure violations can be corrected and certificates can be issued by August 1st of each year. All generator testing shall be done on weekends only, the proposal shall include any fees for weekend testing. Vendors shall notify Facilities of any upcoming state requirements well in advance and provide detailed reports of all inspections that were performed
