Description | The City of Manitou Springs is accepting bids for the mill and paving of Uinta Road and a portion of Via Chula Vista There will not be a public bid opening A 5% bid bond is required for the project The Selected Contractor will be required to obtain performance and payment bonds to cover 100% of the project contract amount. Notice of Award is expected by July 11th and work should be expected to start on or after the week of August 17th - pending approval of Manitou Springs City Council and Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA). PPRTA will be utilized to fund this project. PPRTA Special Provisions will be part of the awarded contract. Question Acceptance Deadline 06/29/2022 06:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Award Requirements - Reserve Rights to Award by Line Item The bid shall have an Anticipated Scope of Services that includes the following: The Contractor will provide project costs for crews and equipment, anticipated mobilization time, and anticipated project completion time. The Contractor is responsible to provide all materials and equipment necessary for fabrication, construction, and/or installation of this project. The Contractor is responsible for clean-up of area and affected near-by areas of the project and removal of all wastes on a daily basis. The Contractor is responsible for damages, inside or outside the project area. The Contractor is responsible for their own confined space, roadway, and trenching safety procedures. If the project requires street closure - partial or otherwise, the Contractor shall provide all necessary traffic control. All traffic control personnel must at a minimum carry a current CDOT Flagger Certification. A Traffic Control Plan must be submitted to and approved by City staff at the pre-construction meeting. The pre-construction is to be scheduled at time of accepting the contract. Notice of Award is expected by July 11 th and work should be expected to start on or after the week of August 17 th |
