Feasibility Study - Facilities Condition Assessment

1. Facility Condition Assessment: A building by building facility condition inspection by the firm’s staff including architects, engineers, and consultants in order to ascertain existing conditions. Meetings may be held with facility personnel and administration to review building concerns. The following will be included in the surveys: code compliance, deferred maintenance, potential hazards, and compliance with depreciation/replacement schedules for roofs, heating systems, ADA issues, and other facility concerns. 2. Report Preparation & Cost Estimates: The results of the surveys and interviews will be tabulated on master schedules for each facility that will identify and quantify all conditions/recommendations on a priority basis. Cost estimates for capital improvement, upgrading of present facilities, and recommended scheduled maintenance will be provided. 3. Energy and Environmental Best Practices: The facility study must include industry best practices for energy and environmental modeling and consumption, including an evaluation of the HVAC building automation system.
