Description

Project consists of a targeted renovation of approximately 12,000 SF of the 4th floor of the Joel Valdez Main Library located at 101 N Stone Ave, Tucson, Arizona. The floor is divided programmatically in half between administrative functions and Technical Services which physically processes books for distribution to branch libraries. The administrative half of the floor will be minimally remodeled while the Technical Services half will be more extensively renovated, with changes to the architectural floor plan and finishes. Both sides of the floor will see replaced flooring and modifications to existing mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems as required for new work. The project will be permitted through Pima County Development Services and the State Fire Marshall using the 2018 Family of Codes.
