PROJECT TITLE: Gilbert H. Grosvenor Visitor Center Rehabilitation SITE LOCATION: Russell Cave National Monument, 3729 Country Road, Bridgeport, AL 35740 This project is for the Rehabilitation of the Gilbert H. Grosvenor Visitor Center at Russell Cave National Monument. The Work includes demolition, renovation and refinishing the structures interior footprint, replacement of the existing HVAC system, electrical system, plumbing system, and fire protection systems, supplemental structural reinforcement, and related renovation work to provide a completely renovated facility. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price Contract. In accordance per FAR Part 28, performance and payment bonds are required at 100% of the contract price and must be submitted within ten (10) days of receiving the award. A certificate of insurance is required, and coverage must be at a minimum of: $100,000 per person; $500,000 per occurrence; and $1,000,000 per property and must be submitted within 10 calendar days of receipt of the award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Construction Building. Primary Product/Service Code is Y1PZ, Construction of Other Non-Building Facilities. The size standard for this NAICS code is $39.5 million. The contractor will be required to self-perform, at a minimum 35% of the work.
