| Description | In general the work consists of Directional drilling a new 10 inch water service to the building, installing sprinkler and high-expansion foam fire suppression systems in an approximate 58,000 square foot aircraft hangar building. Other work involved will include installation of of fire pumps, construction of a fire suppression equipment room within the existing building mechanical space, upgrading the existing fire alarm system, installing a new building service served by a new transformer and adding supplementary structural steel framing to support the new fire suppression systems. Part of the work of this project will need to be coordinated with the work of a separate project that will construct two small additions for hangar doors concurrent with the work of this project. |
