Lift Station C-1 Improvements Project

Work includes improvements at the existing C-1 lift station for Ontwa Township located at the intersection of Elkhart Road and Sandy Beach Drive, Edwardsburg, Michigan. The work includes: removing two existing poly tanks, providing and installing two new double walled polymer tanks (550 gallons and 5,000 gallons), providing and installing electrical, controls and two chemical feed pumps in a cabinet pumps for new chemical feeds for bioxide and caustic and associated feed lines installed in conduit, concrete flatwork including a drive and flatwork within the limits of the station, and the installation of a standalone emergency shower unit to be supplied by the Township. The work will also include the providing and installing a new 6-foot pre-cast concrete manhole to house a wastewater grinder on a rail system (Vogelsang X-Ripper) upstream of the existing station
