Description

The work is generally described as follows: This project involves the improvements to the potable water system on the campus of the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport. More specifically, improvements will include the replacement of primary water mains in the vicinity of Hangar 450. Included in the project will be the removal and replacement of water valves and fire hydrants, installation of new service lines, roadway repairs and grassing in the affected areas. The DBE participation goal is 10.5%. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of Ninety (90) days Questions regarding website registration, online orders or electronic bidding, please contact Plan House Printing at (228) 248-0181. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate with bid security in accordance with the instructions to bidders which are found in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.The CITY OF GREENVILLE reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interests.
