Description | The scope of work includes removing existing diesel engine/alternator, automatic transfer switch, and appurtenances from interior and exterior of the Valley View Pump Station building. Furnish and install new diesel engine/alternator, automatic transfer switch, and appurtenances. All work is depicted in Contract Documents. Proposals shall be submitted only on the forms contained herein and shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in a form described and shall be received only from persons who obtain Bid Documents from the MVWA and are duly registered on the list of bidders. The MVWA reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any and all bids. The MVWA may reject any bid if in its judgment the resources, financial standing, or experience of the bidder justifies such rejection in view of the work to be performed. The Board reserves the right to revise or amend the bidding documents prior to the date set for opening the bids. Packages containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed to the Mohawk Valley Water Authority, Engineering Department, Attention: Jolie Murray, 1 Kennedy Plaza, 3rd Floor, City Hall, Utica, New York 13502. Packages containing bids that are delivered by courier (i.e., FedEx, UPS, etc.)must be delivered to the Water Authoritys Engineering Department, 3rd Floor Office. For purposes of this solicitation, MVWA hereby establishes an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 15% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises(MBE) participation and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation (based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs). The SDVOB Monthly Reporting Form is to be completed by the Contractor/Vendor, and submitted by the 10th day of each month for the duration of the Contract. |
