Engineering - 76th Avenue South - North Segment Consultant

Work will include the construction of a new 3 lane roadway, curb & gutter, sidewalk, storm system, watermain system, illumination, planters, and various driveway improvements from S 212th St to the South for a distance of approximately 1,000 LF in Kent, WA. The project has a mandatory TBD% DBE goal during construction and 19% DBE goal for consultant services contracts. The major features of the project are as follows: Remove approximately 5,000 SY of existing asphalt and concrete flatwork. Import and place 12,700 tons of embankment. Import, place, and grade 3,000 tons of crushed surfacing. Paving 1,400 tons of HMA Cl 1/2 ", PG 58V-22. 1,600 linear feet of curb & gutter. 1,700 SY of sidewalk, curb ramps, and driveways. 3,000 SF of gravity block retaining wall. 1,400 LF of new water main. 1,100 LF of new storm sewer. Installation of a new illumination system Installation of a 6 vehicle detection loops. 780 new plants with a new irrigation system. 3,800 feet of permanent channelization.
