Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System

The Birmingham Airport Authority (the "Authority") is requesting quotes for three (1) Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) and Installation. The purpose of this document (the "Request for Quotes" or "RFQ") is to provide interested vendors with the overview of the opportunity, as well as instructions on how to respond. A prospective ("Proponent") shall submit its quote ("Quote" or Quote Package") in conformity with the procedures and requirements set in this Request for Quotes. Inquiries relative to this RFQ are only to be submitted in writing via e-mail to eseoane@flybirmingham.com Written Inquiries Accepted Through September 7, 2022 Target Award Date September The Authority reserves the right to: Reject any and all Quotes Project Scope of work • New ALCMS • Include installation of four (4) notes, ATCT, Electrical Vault, Maintenance Center, and Roaming Maintenance. • 19” monitor with new Arista CPU in ATCT (two for the tower), Electrical Vault and Maintenance Center. • 19” touchscreen assembly to be installed in the tower cab. • Two (2) Uninterruptable Power Supplies(UPSs) in the Tower note. • ALCMS touchscreen Human Machine Interface (HMI) to include control and monitoring for all existing airfield lighting equipment. • Communication between the vault, ATCT, and maintenance through redundant multi-mode fiber optic cable. • Calibration, commissioning, training manual. • Electronic copies of Manual and drawing documentation to include Final AS-installed drawing, ATC HMI Operator Manual, and Maintenance Operator Manuals. • Provide labor and material to install new touch screen in the ATC Tower, New screen and CPU in OPS, and New Screen and CPU in Vault.
