Description

The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the South 3rd Plaza Construction Project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, the following key tasks A. Perform removals to clear the site for construction including, but not limited to, removal of existing improvements, fencing, lighting, pavement, and concrete. B. Perform resets of select signage within the project area. C. Install new storm drain infrastructure to include inlets, piping, and channel drains. D. Install new electrical lighting to include panels, underground circuits, below-grade power supplies, parking lot lighting, pedestrian lighting, and lighting in new seat walls. E. Construct new concrete curb and gutter, valley pans/fillets, sidewalk, and curb ramps. F. Reconstruct roadway base and paving with hot mix asphalt. G. Construct a pedestrian plaza to include concrete flatwork, irrigation piping and controls, landscaping, plantings, seat walls, trash cans, benches, bicycle racks, and a flagpole. H. Install new signage and striping. I. Coordinate project surveying and stakeout. This work is to be paid directly by the City and coordinated by the contractor. J. Implement stormwater management (including preparation of a stormwater management plan and completion of a stormwater construction permit with CDPHE), traffic control (incl. traffic control plan), site security, site restoration, final grading, and quality control testing as necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project plans and specifications. Bid Bonds (5% of total bid price) and performance and payment bonds (100% of total bid price) are required on construction projects over $50,000. All inquiries shall clearly identify the name of the firm and the authorized representative, the RFP number and title. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposed bids, or any combination of them, and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bid or in the bidding. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
