BVF Comfort Station and Water Supply

This project is located at Yosemite National Park in California. The surrounding area is rural in nature, with limited staging room available. The Park will remain open during construction, therefore, contract activities and logistics must be structured and scheduled to minimize visitor impact. The project site will require protective measures to ensure the surrounding areas remain undisturbed. Work to be performed under this Construction Services project requirement includes – • Construction of a new Comfort Station, associated grading, and site improvements; • Furnish and installation of a water chlorination/electrical prefabricated building and associated appurtenances; • Installation of electrical and communication conduits and wires between the new chlorination/electrical building, water tank, and well; • Installation of electrical wire between the new Comfort Station and chlorination/electrical building in existing conduits; • Installation of fiber optic cable between the existing lift station and new chlorination/electrical building; • Installation of a new submersible well pump in a newly constructed well drilled by others; • Furnish and installation of a new bolted steel water tank and associated grading and concrete slab; • Design-Built SCADA system, including control panels and VHF antenna at Bridalveil Fall water system site and Turtleback Dome site; and • Integrate and test the SCADA control system between existing lift station, new water system and Yosemite Valley existing SCADA system.
