Description | Contract Award Date: Jun 22, 2023 Contract Award Number: W9128F23P0053 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: H6ZBGH33XA33 Contractor Awarded Name: SHIELD + PEST CONTROL LLC Contractor Awarded Address: Sioux Falls, SD 57106 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $147,720.00 The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Noxious Weed Spraying as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Objectives: Identify and control noxious weed infestations. Scope: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to accomplish herbicide application to control identified infestations of noxious weeds; primarily Musk Thistle (Carduus nutans), Canada Thistle (Cirsium arvense), Field Bindweed (Creeping Jenny), Saltcedar or Tamarisk (Tamarix ramosissma, Tamarix chinensis, Tamarix parviflora), Marijuana (Cannabis sativa), Leafy Spurge (Euphorbia esula), Kochia (Kochia scoparia) and other identified noxious weeds. The areas to be sprayed are all located on Big Bend Project, South Dakota, along the east side of Lakes Sharpe and Francis Case. Areas are located from approximately thirty-two miles below Oahe Dam (River Mile 1039) to ten miles below Big Bend Dam (River Mile 979). A bio-degradable marker dye is required with all sprayings/applications. The Contractor shall so control all their operations during the performance of the work to ensure that the completed work meets all the requirements of the specifications. All contracted tasks must be completed during the scheduled day unless otherwise specified herein or authorized in advance by the Contracting Officer, or his/her authorized representative. The spraying contract shall be accomplished by use of ground spraying equipment only (4-wheel drive vehicle with spray boom, ORV with spray boom, or backpack spray unit). |
