Description | Questions Due: 10/14/2022 by 12:00 Noon Eastern Time Vendors are invited to quote unit prices on purchasing and installing audio/visual equipment for community and training rooms for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in Marion County, IN. Other departments and agencies of the City may also utilize this contract. Outright purchase for audio visual equipment and installation for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Location #1: Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department IMPD Training Academy Room 901 North Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226 Location #2: Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department IMPD East District 201 N Shadeland Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226 *There will be no bid bonds or performance bonds required for this contract. Completion- (90) calendar days Use, at a minimum, fifteen percent (15%) Minority Business Enterprises, eight percent (8%) Women's Business Enterprises, three percent (3%) Veteran's Business Enterprises, and one percent (1%) Disability-Owned Business Enterprises in the performance of services under this Agreement IMPD East District Community Room - 201 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219 Specifically for the East District Community Room, these audio/visual improvements will create an area for virtual engagement between IMPD and the East District community. It also serves as a collaborative meeting center for regional partners and, at times, for virtual sessions with partners outside the region. The Indianapolis Violence Reduction Program is held in the Community Room, as well as many other key programs designed to lower crime in the metropolitan area. 1.1.1. Contractor will install Yealink 940 Room Kit with Camera, Touch Control panel, and wireless content sharing dongles. 1.1.2. Contractor will install (2) 86" Commercial Lite displays rated for 16 hours per day usage. 1.1.3. Contractor will install (6) Yealink Ceiling microphone arrays, each one having (8)microphone elements, to capture Audio from the presenter and the audience. 1.1.4. Contractor will install (8) 811 in-ceiling speakers to cover the room. Sonance in-ceiling speakers with a Sonance MKII Audio Processor. 1.1.5. Contractor will train personnel on simple use cases for the equipment' in the room. Middle Atlantic Products L2 Lectern, four output HDMI. IMPD Training Academy - 901 North Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226 The Training Academy upgrades are for two rooms (102 and 209) for law enforcement training. Room 209; Room 209 is the largest and most utilized training space for IMPD in-service instruction. IMPD wants to replace the current two projectors at the front of the classroom with three 86" monitors. Monitors are more reliable, provide better resolution, and will last longer than projectors, and are a better option to displaying training content. Additionally, a modern lectern will house the technical infrastructure, including a Yealink Touch Panel, that allows for simplicity of use-instructors will simply plug in their laptop and begin instructing.Contractor will reuse the existing speakers, amplifier, and cabling if possible. 1.2.2. Contractor will install (3) 86" displays as high on the front wall as possible. 1.2.3. Contractor will assemble a Lectern and place new and existing equipment in the techfriendly storage area of the lectern. 1.2.4. Contractor will run cables over the floor and cover them with ADA compliant multi-track raceway. 1.2.5. Contractor will run cables up the wall as need to reach the ceiling for distribution to the TV's and speakers. These cables will be covered with paintable on-the-wall raceway. Room 102 Although smaller than 209, this room is just as important to departmental training needs. Many of our advanced training topics such as supervisor training, Field Training Officer, and the Kronos Automated Timecard Boot Camp are conducted in this room. Modern police stations offer a more engaging atmosphere to host community and police in collaborative discussions driven by data. Remote video meeting capabilities allow for IMPD to be inclusive in discussions with community stakeholders. In addition to the audio visual equipment needed to further IMPD training needs, a camera and microphone array are added to meet the virtual conferencing capability. Room 102 will allow the Training Academy staff to conduct live virtual training sessions with all six operational districts and other units around the department. It will also allow key executive staff members to virtually communicate directly from one location with multiple community groups spread across the city. 1.2.6. Contractor will reuse the existing speakers, amplifier, and cabling if possible. 1.2.7. Contractor will install (2) 86" displays as high on the front wall as possible. 1.2.8. Contractor will assemble a Lectern and place new and existing equipment in the techfriendly storage area of the lectern. 1.2.9. Contractor wilJ run cables over the floor and cover them with ADA compliant multi-track raceway. 1.2.10. Contractor will run cables up the wall as need to reach the ceiling for distribution to the TV's and speakers. These cables will be covered with paintable on-the-wall raceway. 1.2.11.
