San Marcos High Service Pump #2 VFD Replacement/Retrofit

This Project will include the removal of the existing Siemens drive and retrofit a new 6 pulse VFD for High Service pump #2, utilizing existing cabinet and control wiring. San Marcos High Service Pump #2 VFD Replacement/Retrofit Scope of Work 1. The City of San Marcos High Service Pump Station is located at 91 Old Bastrop Rd, San Marcos TX, 78666 2. Replace existing Siemens 500HP Variable Frequency Drive with new retro-fit 6 pulse or equivalent VFD for High Service Pump #2 using the existing enclosure. 3. Successful bidder must be an Authorized Service and Warranty support center for inspections, repairs, and provide a certified start up. 4. Pull new leads from VFD drive to pecker head on motor #2. 5. VFD Drive must come with minimum 3 year parts and labor warranty 6. VFD should be equipped with software specific to pumps and pumping applications for the water industry. 7. Bidder may provide more than one option for replacement as long as the options are comparable in quality and meet the prelisted specifications. 8. Contractor will be required to meet all GBRA insurance and safety policy requirements. 9. Contractor will be responsible for all labor, mobilization/demobilization, materials, equipment, supplies and site cleanup. Add alternate: Provide separate line item cost for pulling new leads from VFD drive to pecker head on motor #2.
