Description | RFP- Sandusky Transit Maintenance Complex Lighting Upgrade. All questions must be submitted in writing and may be emailed to: Megan Stookey, mstookey@cityofsandusky.com Any questions submitted and answers thereto, clarifications or Request for Proposals amendments shall be distributed to those parties that requested or have been sent an original RFP. Last day for questions shall be 8:00am on Thursday, June 29, 2023. The City of Sandusky reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, and to withdraw this solicitation at any time. The City of Sandusky reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any of the Proposals received and to award to the offeror whose proposal best meet the needs of the City of Sandusky . SCOPE OF WORK A. Delivery Date The effective date of the Contract shall be within 30 days of award. The Proposer/Contractor shall be prepared to deliver the product and complete installation no later than September 1, 2023, or as soon as possible. B. City of Sandusky Obligations o Have staff available the day of delivery. o Other requirements agreed upon in writing by both parties after execution of the contract. C. Obligation of Vendor Vendor shall further be obligated to: o Scope out the necessary equipment in order to cost effectively upgrade the lighting fixtures throughout the Sandusky Transit Maintenance Complex, furthermore, delivery of the agreed upon goods. o Installation of goods in accordance with the approved proposal. The installation shall not be subject to prevailing wages as the expected expenditure is to be below the state threshold to apply wages. o Disposal of any existing equipment in accordance with state guideline and regulations SECTION V. SPECIFICATIONS The City is looking to work with a vendor for the upgrade of existing light fixtures at the Sandusky Transit Maintenance Garage, as the City has received a grant in the amount of $18,000 for such improvements. The Sandusky Transit Maintenance Garage is located at 1630 N Depot Street and was constructed in 2000. o Removal and replacement of high-bay lights in the Maintenance Garage with new LED light fixtures, keeping the existing lighting control to remain in place. o Removal and replacement of ceiling fixturesin the Garage office/storage area with new LED light fixtures, keeping the existing lighting control to remain in place. o Installation of two light fixtures in the Parking Lot with new LED light fixtures, as well as, the replacement of one wall mounted light fixture. o All new LED light fixtures shall be products of America pursuant to the grant guidelines. |
